Sited on the hills dominating Trasimeno Lake, the apartment, built in 70’s, offers an exceptional view of the whole lake basin till its extreme offshoots, including Monte Amiata.
The rent regards the first floor apartment, while the ground floor apartment is inhabited by “Signor Checco” (Francesco).
The building has two floor and a concrete structure externally plastered with a Terra di Siena colour plaster.
The house is sited near the Monte Castelluccio regional park and the ruins of the Santa Agata medieval church: so the house is soaked in a typical agrestic mountain atmosphere and Signor Checco’s hospitality and fancy contribute to the holiday’s genuineness.
The whole house is unaltered from its building in the external and internal look, where the 70’s style furniture still rules with dignity, as all the flooring and the bath tiles.
Casa Franca lodges four adult people, with the possibility of giving hospitality to another one for the presence of a folding bed.
There are external stairs to access to the apartment: once crossed the entrance main door we enter in the central passage where the different rooms open to.
To the left there’s the entrance of the living-room where there are a brick fireside and a panoramic balcony (breadth 1,20 m).The liveable kitchen instead opens to the passage’s right side. To the end of the passage then there are the doors of the two double room and the bathroom, where it is a bath.
Outside, in the East side, there is the renters’ garden, where the garden equipment, deck-chairs, tables and chairs are arranged to make enjoyable the external life.
In the West side there is the common court that acts as parking area, in addition to a little garden and a low construction used as a storehouse.
The property is totally enclosed and there’s a gate further on it starts a 50 m long entrance path.
Casa Franca is in the middle of a set of itineraries from Tuscany to the Umbria’s heart, for it is 3 km far from Tuoro and the main services, 5 km from Trasimeno Lake, the railway station and the Perugia-Bettolle main road; 17 km from Cortona and about 35 km from Perugia.
